Well...i usually don't tell people this, but since i'm 5 1/2 hours away and no harm can be done...it's my birthday. The big 18...My friends Robin and Melissa knocked on my door at 8 o'clock this morning with a big birthday cake and sang happy birthday to me. It was really sweet....the cake that is...haha. But really, my birthday is going pretty well considering that I had band pretty much all day today. Until next year.......

It's 8AM, two girls knocking on your dorm room door, who you describe as friends. So, lemme get this straight, okay? You've been there about a week, and two girls already know you well enough to bring you a cake at 8AM to celebrate your birthday?

Nathan, Brent - welcome to CO-ED DORMS! almost all universities have them - in fact, at SHSU there's only one all-girls left and one all-boys. 18 boys live in my dorm, and 18 girls. (it's a small house.) but yeah - a boy's door is only a hallway's width apart from my door! It happens.

I understand Co-Ed dorms. I used to work in University Housing as a director. WaS the supervisor of a co-ed dorm for two years. I just know that Tech's aren't.
Actually, I live in Gates which is now a co-ed dorm. Guys and girls alternate every other floor.
Yeah we had alternate floors in Coleman but the girls still couldn't walk on a guys floor unescorted. There are still RULES people!
