I saw the movie Glory Road the other night. I know what you're thinking..if you've seen one Disney sports movie, you've seen them all. The underdog rises up and wins it all. Well....yeah. But go see this one. It's well made and pretty thought provoking. It's $7.50 well spent for sure.

One more thing....I'm a little bitter that there are no student discounts at the movie theaters in Lubbock.

Thank about it Craig, if there were student discounts in Lubbock who would be left to pay the full price? If that's your only complaint about Lubbock (and I suspect it just might be) consider yourself very blessed -- there are a LOT of less desirable college towns in America.

y'know, in Huntsville, which is only a collegetown AND a prisontown in one!
but EVERYTHING was student price. we had on theatre - and it was $3.50 matinee everyday, all people. in the evening it was like, $5 a ticket.
Nice. LOL one thing i miss about sam houston.
though they didn't ever take any plastic or anything. cash only. and it was small and creepy. LOL.
